Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the TideLabs peptide testing portal at testing.tidelabs.co.uk and any test request you submit. The service is operated by TL Research Ltd (trading as TideLabs), company number 16935616, registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE ("we", "us"). By submitting a request you accept these terms.

1. The service

TideLabs arranges independent laboratory testing of research peptides. Testing is performed by our partner laboratory, Marfleet Analytical Services. We act as an intermediary between you and the laboratory.

2. Requests and acceptance

  • Submitting the form is a request for testing, not a binding order.
  • We review every request and may decline or cancel any request at our discretion, without giving a reason.
  • A contract is formed only once we confirm acceptance and issue an invoice.

3. Research use only

All samples must be handled and submitted as research materials. By submitting a request you confirm the samples are for laboratory research and analytical use only and are not for human or veterinary consumption, cosmetic, or clinical use, that you are 18 or over, and that you are acting in a professional or business capacity. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your possession, handling and shipping of the samples.

4. Pricing and payment

  • Testing is charged at £180 per item tested, plus VAT. The total shown on the form is an estimate based on the number of products submitted and excludes VAT.
  • All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT at the prevailing rate will be added and shown on your invoice.
  • Expedited turnaround may incur additional laboratory charges, which we will confirm before proceeding.
  • Payment is made against the invoice we issue. Testing begins once payment terms are met.

5. Samples and shipping

After approval we will provide shipping instructions. You are responsible for packaging and sending samples safely, lawfully and with any required safety and allergen information. We are not responsible for samples lost or damaged in transit before they reach the laboratory.

6. Results

Results are issued as a Certificate of Analysis. Where no specification is provided, results are reported "as found". We do not guarantee any particular result, turnaround time, or outcome, and results relate only to the samples submitted.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from a request is limited to the fees paid for that request, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. The service and results are provided for research purposes and you rely on them at your own risk.

8. Intellectual property

The TideLabs name, branding and the content of this site belong to TL Research Ltd and may not be used without permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
